About Kitty

Kitty Adamovic (yellow)

My areas of clinical focus include Women’s Mental Health and Women’s Reproductive Mental Health.  Maternal mental health includes depression and anxiety during pregnancy and the postpartum period, childbirth, childbirth and traumatic birth experience, perinatal loss, and infertility.  I have specialized training in working with mothers, parents, domestic violence survivors, and children.  I often work with people having difficulty with panic attacks, depression, and anxiety driven issues.

I am client centered and use evidenced-based approaches to more effectively address these challenging issues.  I utilize other modalities based on my clients individual needs.

As a nurse I understand the stress that illness can bring to you and your family.    As a mother I understand parents and children’s issues in a personal way.  As a psychotherapist I want to help you through your struggles towards a happier, calmer life.  I love what I do, and want to work with you, finding your inner resources and building on your strengths so that you find your voice and are better abled to live a more fulfilling life.
